Fishing in Idaho, May 2013

We went to visit Anna, over Memorial Day Weekend. Roy wanted to pick up a few things from his dad. He wanted the RC airplanes his dad had. Eli and Mike were fortunate to go fishing with Anna's daughter and kids while we were there. This was there first fishing trip in a long time, that was successful. The limit was six trout a piece. Mike caught 3, Eli caught 4, and the other kids rounded it up to 15 fish. Mike and Eli had their biology lesson for the day. They cleaned and gutted the fish, all by themselves after they came back to Anna's house. One of the guts contained an inflated fish lung, which was pretty cool. Then we ate some of them. After the kids gutted and cleaned the fish, they weren't enthusiastic about eating them. We had roast also, so they said they were full. We have many more fish in the deep freeze to eat in the future.

A bald eagle and a brown eagle where fighting over the fish they caught. Spectacular!

Eli's first fish. She did so well catching, getting the hook out, and putting the fish on the stringer.
